Nexus 7 and Ectaco C-Pen 3.5. A Match Made in Android Heaven. Scan, Upload, and Translate a Print Document.

With the new Nexus 7 in had you know we had to test all of our applications for language learning and translation. Than it dawned on us, why not try it with the C-Pen!? For those of you who don’t know, the C-Pen 3.5 is an OCR scanner which can scan and transfer text from print media to digital (tablet, phone, laptop). With Ectaco software you can translate this text in several languages. The C-Pen 3.5 can be operated wirelessly with a Bluetooth connection.

We've collected a TON of info from you guys and are now releasing the newest JBC Update on July 10th. 


The following features and functions are being added:


- Landscape mode. Now you can turn any book 90 degrees and read in a panoramic fashion
- Book downloading from Book Browser via AtomPub support
- Stylus and key click sounds (configured from Settings)
- Faster switching between menus and books
- Poweroff picture
- Key lock function
- Lithuanian and Dutch language menus added
- Other minor bug fixes
